The firm has selected Cummins Singapore to supply the main power generation for their currently building accommodation and work barge.

Cummins was awarded a contract to supply the main power generation for their newly built 240-man accommodation and work barge under construction at Jiangsu Jiaolong Heavy Industry Group Co., Ltd. (JHI) The massive 120 by 33.2-meter (394×108-foot) barge is fitted with six units of Cummins Power Set Model K38-CP765DM/5 each rated for 832 Kwe. In addition to these six generator sets an emergency generator has been installed. This is a Cummins KTA19-D(M1) rated for 360 Kwe. The new barge is classed ABS, Accommodation & Work barge, MODUS code for unrestricted services.

A 520-Tonne Japanese-built SKK pedestal crane has been installed by JHI for offshore operations in Southeast Asia. The barge is scheduled to be ready to go to work in February of 2011.
