Sunreef 60 Power Cat

The new Sunreef 60 power catamaran offers comfort and seaworthiness with cummins marine propulsion.

The new Sunreef 60 motoryacht combines elegance and power

As the entry level boat in Sunreef’s catamaran series, the 60 is a versatile, power motoryacht offering comfort and seaworthiness in a flexible deck arrangement.

Contemporary and sporty, the 60 Power Cat is easily maneuverable, ideal for navigating solo or with a crew. Characterized by sunny, lounging spaces on the main deck with a skylight and panoramic glazing, the semi-open saloon and spacious forward lounge blend seamlessly with the aft cockpit, providing spacious, alfresco dining and natural, social spaces.

Customizable for every need

Customizable for individual lifestyle and navigation plans, the Sunreef 60’s generous 35-foot beam provides versatility. General arrangements include owner, semi-owner or charter-friendly interiors accommodating six to 12 guests plus crew in a well-designed layout.

Powercats have steadily increased in popularity. Most people associate superyachts with a monohull, but that paradigm is shifting as Sunreef mixes luxury with multihull vessels. Catamaran advantages include space, fuel efficiency and tremendous value per cubic foot, with Sunreef’s naval architects creating each motoryacht hull from scratch. Flatter, motoryacht chines differ completely from a sailing cat's more banana-shaped hull.

As a geometry-stabilized craft with a wide beam versus a monohull boat with a ballasted-keel, catamarans are multi-hulled watercraft featuring two parallel hulls of equal size. Catamarans typically have a shallower draft than comparable length monohulls, with a wider stance on the water reducing both heeling and wave-induced motion with reduced wakes.

Cummins QSB6.7 gives the Sunreef 60 quiet dependability

Found more often in Asian waters, catamarans originated as sailing vessels for Austronesian peoples, enabling cruising between islands in the Indian and Pacific Oceans. By heritage, modern power cats require less propulsive power with smaller hydrodynamic resistance, a throwback to sailing roots.

Cruising the world in a zen environment implies more ingenuity than decor and textiles could ever provide. The serenity starts in the engine room. Powered by twin Cummins QSB 6.7 300 HP engines, the Sunreef 60 is fuel efficient, dependable and quiet. Cummins marine diesel inboard engines are known for noise reduction at idle with minimum vibration to savor serene moments at sea.
