Innovative High Endurance Mechanism and Blow-on Technology Design

The B-Series transfer switch High Endurance Mechanism (HEM) utilizes electromagnetic force to ensure contacts remain closed during high current faults. When a fault occurs, electromagnetic fields develop around moving and stationary contact arms. The HEM utilizes the resulting electromagnetic forces to firmly hold the contacts together; the higher the fault current the greater the force. The B-Series uses the same HEM technology for both the automatic transfer switch and the manual bypass transfer switch mechanisms.

Features:

  • Heavy-duty opening springs enable fast opening times, extinguishing arc faster
  • Durable automotive grade microswitches for higher reliability
  • Dependable modular architecture utilizing stacked high-performance switching cassettes with arc suppression technology designed for maximizing contact life
