After more than 25 years of dedicated work by teams of engineers and specialists, this engine will meet the rigorous demands of its customers with 4% better fuel economy over the 2024 X15, optimized powertrain integration, and a weight neutral system. The 2027 X15 is part of the Cummins HELM™ platform, which also includes the X15N, Cummins leading natural gas engine for heavy duty customers.
