Generator sets

Cummins provides diesel and gas-powered generator sets ranging from 15 – 3750 kVA.

All aspects of generator set design, manufacturing and service have been brought together in one company. All the major components – the engine, alternator, control systems and containers – are manufactured and built by Cummins. This integrated approach means each element of a generator set is matched to work in harmony from the start.

Transfer switches

Cummins Power Generation offers a range of automatic and non-automatic transfer switches and bypass isolation transfer switches from 40 to 4,000 amps for an entire range of applications.

All transfer switches are engineered with flexibility and ease-of-operation in mind. And, when paired with Cummins generator sets (switchgear and paralleling controls) our robust power system capabilities ensure reliable performance while maximizing cost effectiveness.

System level controls and switchgear

Cummins Power Generation has been designing reliable paralleling power solutions since the early 1960s for a wide range of applications. Cummins system level controls are designed, manufactured, tested and third party certified to UL891, IEC 61439-2, CSA 22.2, Seismic and CE and provide world-class functionality reliability and quality.

Distribution boards are available in low voltage and medium voltage options. Low voltage paralleling switchboards are listed to UL 891 or UL 1558 for applications ranging from 208 to 600 volts. Medium voltage paralleling switchgear built to ANSI Standard C37.20.2 is available for high voltage applications.
