The ProTec 5000 Series beam axle is based on Meritor's popular P600™ heavy haul axle product line. By combining the proven durability and reliability of the commercial P600 axle and Cummins-Meritor's extensive engineering expertise and background in rugged, off-road military applications, the new Protec 5000 Series beam axle has been optimized to satisfy the very demanding military market specifications, performance requirements and sustainability targets.
