Cummins-Meritor's RS-611 single rear drive axle is engineered and built for the extreme demands of the military duty cycle. For more than 50 years, Cummins-Meritor has been the axle supplier of choice to the United States Army for its fleet of 2.5- and 5-ton vehicles. Cummins-Meritor's bevel gear wheel-end reduction axles exceed the demanding requirements for the current Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles (FMTV), while offering optimal maneuverability and excellent ground clearance.
