Cummins announces 2024 Shoes for Soldiers Program to support the Wyakin Foundation
By Cummins Inc., Global Power Technology Leader

Cummins Inc. is proud to announce the launch of the 2024 Shoes for Soldiers program. This initiative continues a long-standing commitment, formerly under Meritor, Inc., to support military veterans through the Wyakin Foundation, an organization dedicated to providing professional development and resources to wounded veterans.
Through December 31st, 2024, Cummins' Drivetrain and Braking Systems aftermarket business will donate a portion of new and remanufactured Meritor® brake shoe sales to the Wyakin Foundation. These funds will aid in furthering career mentoring, education, and job placement services for veterans, helping them transition to civilian life with confidence.
Cummins will formally present the donation check to the Wyakin Foundation during Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week, taking place in Grapevine, Texas (U.S.), this January.
"We believe in the potential of our veterans and are honored to support them as they navigate their career journeys," said Doug Dole, General Manager, Global Product Strategy at Cummins. "Through the Shoes for Soldiers program, we aim to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those who have served our country."
The Shoes for Soldiers program not only highlights Cummins' dedication to community service but also reinforces the importance of providing veterans with the resources they need to thrive in their post-military careers.
