FH-941 front steer axle delivers durability, performance, reliability and ease of maintenance for standard-floor buses and motor coaches. The Meritor Easy Steer FH-946 deep-drop front non-drive steer axle for transit buses and motor coaches offers an enjoyable and comfortable ride for passengers. With the FH-946, floors on 35-, 40- and 60-foot transit buses and motor coaches can drop up to 20 inches below conventional bus designs, allowing easier passenger accessibility without steps. The I-beam construction is built for reliability, durability and performance. The FH-946 has a gross axle weight rating (GAWR) up to 16,000 lbs.
