Setting the industry standard

The six-cylinder B6.7 has earned an unrivalled position as the world’s leading midrange engine platform for truck, bus and coach applications. And that’s because no other engine in its class can offer such high levels of performance and durability whilst operating under the most challenging duty cycles. The ability to keep performing under long operating hours, very high annual mileages and the most challenging route terrain comes as standard with the unrivalled B Series.

  • VGT® Turbo: Cummins Variable Geometry Turbocharger enables high torque from lower engine speeds to enhance vehicle driveability.
  • Hybrid adapted: H versions of the B6.7 are specially configured for buses to integrate with hybrid drivelines, able to significantly reduce fuel consumption and CO2
  • HPCR: A highly efficient High Pressure Common Rail fuel system realizes the full potential of the 6.7-litre engine to deliver rapid response on a highly fuel-efficient basis.
  • Smart electronics: Provide easy access to engine diagnostics and trip data, together with telematics capability.
  • Low carbon fuel: Compatible with HVO renewable fuel and B20 biodiesel without engine modification.
  • DPF/SCR: Diesel Particulate Filter and Selective Catalytic Reduction exhaust aftertreatment is purpose-designed by Cummins as an engine-integrated emissions control system.
  • Global platform: Available in versions to meet all emission standards worldwide.
