Cummins Board of Directors wins at 2023 NACD Diversity, Equity & Inclusion awards

Cummins Inc. (NYSE: CMI) Board of Directors has received the 2023 NACD Award recognizing exemplary board practices related to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I). 

For years, NACD has recognized the power of DE&I to enhance board governance and create long-term value for companies and their stakeholders. This annual awards ceremony highlights the cutting-edge DE&I practices of companies and shine a spotlight on their forward-thinking boards. 

With hundreds of submissions, and as one of only four finalists, Cummins Board of Directors was selected as the winner in the Public Company – Large Cap category. The win was announced at the NACD DE&I Awards Gala on Oct. 10, 2023, at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center in Oxon Hill, MD, just across the river from Washington, DC.
