And enduring a power outage that long could prove to be a miserable experience.

Unfortunately, the original AEC Routemaster buses known around the world have been largely phased out. Introduced in 1956 and built through 1968, today they’re used on only a couple of heritage routes. Could Cummins new green technology breathe fresh air into these legacy

Over the past four to five years, a lot has been written about the shift away from big-bore 15-liter engines to medium-bore (11-liter to 13-liter) engines. This was particularly true among truckers looking to minimize fuel costs. New data shows that many of the industry's trend-setters have discovered the truth in the old saying, "there's no replacement for displacement." They've come to unders

With fuel costs and efficiency being the largest variables for any trucking ventures, fleet managers and drivers think about fuel economy almost constantly. Heavy-duty trucks account for fewer than 5% of vehicles on the road in the U.S., yet moving goods around the country consumed more than 52.7 billion gallons of diesel and gasoline in 2013. But many participating employees say the class is doing more to promote safety than any training they’ve ever taken. “The experience I had in the classroom was different than any training I’ve ever had,” said Debbie Lim

Sometimes, the true test of a company comes when times are challenging. Despite weak global markets, Cummins achieved record results in its environmental and community engagement efforts in 2015, according to the company’s new 2015-2016 Sustainability Progress Report.
